Two bumbling kidnappers have only one job: to deliver a hostage to Fritz, a high-ranking corrupt police inspector. The kidnapping quickly goes wrong when their hostage, the son of a wealthy senator and current presidential candidate, is accidentally killed. As events spiral out of control, the pair fall deeper and deeper into a web of political conspiracy. A farcical political comedy that is a tribute to ordinary Haitians, many of whose lives have been upended by abductions, gang violence and corruption. In the words of the director: “It’s a process of resilience, when you have so much darkness, it’s a way of seeing a little bit of light."

À Port-au-Prince, le fils d’un candidat à la présidence est enlevé. Zoe tue accidentellement le jeune homme, et, pour échapper à un tueur à gages, elle et Doc kidnappent un couple ressemblant au fils du candidat. Ils comptent échanger les deux, en pleine élection présidentielle et complot politique.
