Tyson Meya is a Congolese pianist and composer, recognized as a leading voice of new-generation African jazz. He is the Artistic Director of the Kinshasa Jazz Festival and winner of the Serge Gontcho Prize. He has toured internationally with renowned singer Lokua Kanza.

Rooted in Bokoko (ancestral heritage), his music blends Congolese jazz, ndombolo, and contemporary sounds. Through his immersive Mushikishiki Experience, Tyson Meya delivers high-energy performances where tradition meets innovation.
